Various pictures of the completed foundation & basement walls. Take notice that Granny had to be in some of the pictures. In the top picture, we call it: " Granny in the Hole"
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away

You are seeing the forms for the basement walls going up. The walls are 9' foot high and 8" thick. Sorry about the disorganized order of the pics, the blogger has a mind of its own. If you have been viewing my posts since the beginning, you'll know what pics are the front and rear views of the house. In case you haven't, the pic just above is a frontal view. Because of the severe storms and tornadoes yesterday in the southeast, no work was done and therefore the walls did not get poured. The walls should be finished Monday for a Tuesday pouring; Lord willing.

Starting with the top picture: you are seeing where my woodworking shop will go in the basement and the area the garage will sit on. The middle of course is an overall view of the entire basement. The picture just above shows one view of the foundation that the garage concrete walls and framing will sit on.
